Introvert Fairy Tales: Belle

I love this blog!

A collection of traditional fairy tales, reframed and retold casting the protagonist as a modern introvert, comfortable with themselves as they are.

Introvert Fairy Tales: Belle

July 5, 2012

Fun With Words: Collective Nouns

Fun With Words: Collective Nouns.

Some of these are so great:

  • lodge of beavers
  • mischief of mice
  • smack of jellyfish
  • deceit of lapwings
  • lounge of lizards
  • business of ferrets
  • nuisance of cats
  • ostentation of peacocks
  • congregation of crocodiles
  • rumba of rattlesnakes

And my all-time favourite:

  • an implausibility of gnus (Quick! Someone tell RMS!)

A blight of bloggers?

Update: a tapestry of tweeters, a channel of chatters, a troll of 4channers, a rendition of redditors, an irreverence of Uncyclopedists
